ONE of my jazz history interviews destroyed by Media24, was with none other than the Josh & Robert Sithole family. Attempts by my attorneys to regain access to the material in 2016 stalled upon the issue of the terms of a contract that does not exist. The contract held up by Media24 during the 2010 Labour Case, was a forgery in which my signature to a different contract was attached to another document, with none of the pages notarized.

Given Naspers/Media24 opposition to my identity as a secular Jew, any suggestion there was ever a contract between myself and the corporation should be considered bad faith, null & void. South Africa does not have press freedom when it comes to my case.
I reject with the contempt it deserves any suggestion that “render unto Caeser’ and “Ons het jou geld gegee, waar is ons pond vleis/ we gave you money, where is our pound of flesh'” should be the overriding principle governing the press.
When it comes to Media24, I observe that ‘bullets are cheaper than attorneys’, and insofar as Adriaan Basson is concerned, I wholly support the sentiments expressed by the late Sandile Dikeni when he wrote about the Molotov Cocktail: .’shake, shake my comrade/shake that invention of the working class/shake that unifying medicine before it’s too late /shake before the time come to pass /shake that guava juice’
